Dear Santa

Our neighborhood hosts a get-together with Santa every year. Mrs. Claus was there at the clubhouse to greet the kids and soon Santa arrived on a fire engine with the sirens blaring.  He sang songs with the kids and read The Night Before Christmas. Then the kiddos lined up and got to sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.

Levi has always been nervous around Santa. He will sit on his lap, but he's scared. This year he was pretty excited about it. He made Santa a picture and gave it to him. See the envelope in Santa's hand? See Levi's nervous habit of biting on his nails?

Face painting. (Doesn't he look like a Who from Who-ville????)
Ahren opted to have his hand painted instead, so he could watch.

Levi sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted (A Jack Sparrow video game)

Ahren sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted (To get the heck outta there!)

They handed out cookies and juice and candy canes. Ahren especially enjoyed the candy canes.

HAHAHA... Well at least Ahren knew what he wanted! HAHAHA... That was good...

Took kids to get hair cuts... Angelo looks like a boy now... HEHEHE... And as for Lil Miss Lena... Well lets just say... MOMMA CHICKENED OUT... She only got her hair washed and blown dry... Momma cried when An-go hair was being cut... I don't think she could have taken much more of those cutting noises...

We had so much fun joining you guys that evening! Thank you for inviting us! Our God Baby Ahren had a roller coaster of emotions that evening... I'm glad he came out of it in the positive. I think he had some fun! And Levi was just a sweet gentleman; ready and everything with a letter for Santa! :)
